My Mission
As a health professional, I seek growth for others in the form of optimizing their whole well-being. My intention as a Massage Therapist is to meet your body’s current state and rhythm and engage it to fulfill its own innate ability to restore, balance, and heal itself.
About Me
I have had a passion for helping others ever since I can remember. Sustaining injuries early on in childhood from motor vehicle accidents and sports activities I became exposed to natural alternatives for recovering and restoring balance in my body. Having felt the effective impact of massage therapy my interest in massage and passion for helping others aligned and I became educated as a Registered Massage Therapist. I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy with honors both academically and practically in 2014. Subsequently, I began my career and expanded my hands on skills in a variety of modalities over those next few years. Along the way, my husband and I started a family and I thoughtfully took a step back from my career to fufill my motherhood journey with two young kiddos. During that time, I took the opportunity to further educate myself in massage therapy as well and dive deeper into my passion of women’s health.
My practice focuses on women-centered care with an integrated approach combining massage therapy, body and breath awareness, patient education, and informed knowledge of anatomy and physiology. I continue to educate myself in a manner that is well-rounded and geared towards women with hands-on training for professional development as well as being informed and knowledgeable in various aspects of women’s health outside of standard continuing education credit.
Currently, I have returned to practice in a home-based setting where I am most able to create a safe, nurturing, and calm environment. I am able to hold space for appointments in the most effective way, fulfilling patient needs, and goals.
